I am an engineer at work, and for play I like to travel, read, work out, or get outside to hike - with a little backpacking, mountain biking, skiing (maybe), camping, kayaking (flat-water), photography, and general travel / road-tripping filling in when possible. I am inspired by open spaces, big sky, and wilderness, yet fascinated by science and technology. I try to work out regularly, but I am not consumed by the need to exercise every waking moment away from work. I prefer quiet, private times mostly (with the right company), yet am always open to get festive if a good occasion presents itself. I try to be real and honest, and I don't play games with people. I don't mind laughing at myself (it's usually necessary), and like to think I have an often-used, if a little irreverent, sense of humor (rather a goofy knucklehead, sometimes... but laughing too loud never hurts, right?).

I'm looking for a cute and sweet lady to share my life and travels; someone who inspires me, makes me smile, and in whom I can trust. I admire independence, intelligence, and creativity. I do not need someone to "take care of me" - I want someone to share life with me.

I hope to find someone who can share my passion for finding fantastic new places, and who can appreciate them with me. I like to stay active, and want someone willing and able to walk, hike, bike, paddle, backpack, and/or generally play wherever our travels take us. Lots of places to see together...
