My main hobby right now is fixing up my new old house. I am on a mission to firmly plant myself here in NC. I've been pretty much a rolling stone most of my life. I am interested in finding the love of my life and having a child not necesarily in that order - though it would be nice.

My musical tastes are eclectic - hard core punk, ska to Nora Jones. I don't like much country or metal. OPera's ok re: music - On the computer, it beats the snot out of MS any day!

I like to camp and hike. I love all the waterfalls out here. I would like to do less and achieve more in life.

I am not materialistic and have been debt-free for over a decade. I like to live within my means and expect my partner to do so as well.

I am pretty unique. Though most of my students think I was a hippie or raised by them , I am not, was not. People often misjudge me whether that is from my looks (I can pass for almost any ethnic identity , to politics (I am a lot less liberal than ppl think.)I am an open-minded person and expect my partner to be the same. I often think outside the box.
