Considerate, self-confident, happy, fun, adventurous, romantic, kind, independent and loyal are some of the words that would describe me and who I am. I'd like to find a woman with similar traits.
I recently retired from 28 years of doing economic development with the State of Michigan. It's now time for having as much fun as I can. I want to do a lot of traveling, go to music festivals, read, watch movies and enjoy being with my friends and family. Doing all this and sharing in a special woman's life would be icing on the cake!
By experience and observation I find for me opposites attract--then later--attack! So, I'm looking for someone similar to me. I say similar because many say they're looking for a soulmate, but that's like looking for a needle in haystack. I don't have time to wait for perfection--similar will do just fine. So, I'll describe what I see as my strong points (I'll leave it to you to find the weak ones, we've all got'em) and if my self description is "similar" to you, or at least who you may be looking for, then please have the courage to say hello and I will be sure to respond--you can count on it.
They say to brag here so OK I'll do a bit that and some throw in some description...I'm a "nice guy" who's looking for a" nice woman." I strongly believe that communication is the foundation of relationships--period. I'm loyal and honest; have a great family and many friends; I have self-confidence--very important and I hope you do too--makes things a lot easier for both of us; FUN, energetic, outgoing, kind, healthy, root for the under dog, I'm competitive--but mainly with myself, strong, a reader, financially secure, not looking for a mother; I'm affectionate and like to give and receive PDA when it's tastefully done; been told I'm a good kisser, but it really takes two to do that,; I don’t believe in making humor at the expense of another; music is a passion (The Beatles, Stones, Mellencamp, Bonnie Raitt, Tom Petty, Dylan, the Blues, some country, Celtic music, some classical, Clapton--a whole bunch of people), Monet is a favorite artist, I do like some time alone; I don't have a jealous bone in my body; happy, optimistic, open mined; can't stand bigots; live and let live; hard working, very responsible, usually on time--except when I'm early; keep an orderly home (but I'm not ridiculous about it); very Irish, like all 4 season, cross country ski, snow shoe make winter more fun; love the water...kayaking and pontoon boats, I'm a jogger, love the woods, sunny days and gray days are both fine with me...
Anyway, enough of this. It's a sunny day and I've gotta get out and enjoy it. This gives you a fairly good idea about who and what I am and if you're still reading this then you must be at least mildly interested so say hello...ya never know...
